KATHMANDU, Aug 30: Mahindra Two-wheelers Ltd on Monday welcomed seasoned riders and Mahindra MOJO experts from India, who rode all the way from Pune on Mahindra MOJO 300cc, specially for the upcoming NADA Auto Show 2016 that starts in Kathmandu from August 30.

According to the company, the riders are in Kathmandu for the international launch of Mahindra Two-wheeler's flagship model, Mahindra MOJO 300cc, to be held in NADA.

The riders -- Sarath Shenoy and Daniel Derrick who rode over 2,088 kilometers -- made their way through major checkpoints such as Indore, Jhansi, Lucknow and Gorakhpur of India before entering Nepal.

"The fact that the riders came over all the way in Mahindra MOJO further reiterates the strength, toughness and 'Born for the Road' attitude of Mahindra MOJO 300cc," the company said in a statement.

"After the launch event, the riders are all set to head out on the first stage of their Nepal trail to Jomsom on September 1."
