KATHMANDU, Feb 13: Devotees have thronged Pashupatinath Temple since early Tuesday.

In view of the crowd of devotees gathering since 2 am today, all the four major doors to Pashupatinath Temple were kept open from 3:15 am, said Pashupati Development Trust Director Bhola Sitaula.

It has been arranged that devotees can walk to the major entrance of the Temple from major three entrances – Pingalasthan, (southern gate via four shivalayas), (western gate via Jayabageshwari-Bhuwaneshwor) and Mitrapark via Umakunda-Basuki Temple.

It is expected that around 1.2 million to 1.3 million devotees may have visited Pashupatinath Temple on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri this year.
