Similarly, it has called for a shutdown on May 15, 18 and 19. A meeting of BMF held at Singha Durbar on Sunday evening formed a seven-member central mass mobilization sub-committee headed by Chairman of Madhesi People´s Rights Forum (MPRF) Upendra Yadav.

MPRF-D lawmaker Pramod Gupta said the subcommittee will exert pressure on parliament to address Madhesi issues.

He said that the alliance has already formed districts-level mass mobilization sub-committees across the Tarai.
