The Lux Kamana Film Award 2074 felicitated several talents of the Nepali film industry amid a program organized at the Army Officers’ Club in Sundhara, Kathmandu on Tuesday.

At the ceremony, ‘Chhakka Panja’ was the biggest winner as the movie bagged a total of eight awards under various categories. Deepa Shree Niraula won Best Debut Director, Jeetu Nepal won Best Supporting Character, Deepak Raj Giri won Best Negative Character, Kehar Ghimire won Best Comic Role, while Jeetu Nepal, Kedar Ghimire and Deepak Raj Giri collectively won the award for Best Script Writer for ‘Chhakka Panja’.

Similarly, ‘Gajalu’ won a total of five awards including best director, best story, best debut actress, best sound mixing and best editor. ‘Dying Candle’ won four awards including best make up, best cinematography, best child actor, and best actress for Srijana Subba.

During the program, Mina Niraula, Prem Dhoj Pradhan, Yubraj Chaulagain, Yam Baral, Sambhujeet Baskota, Aananda Karki, Tara Prakash Limbu and Tara Thapa gave their solo performances. Keki Adhikari won the Lux Popular Choice Award whereas Manju Kumar Shrestha, Harihar Sharma and Sakuntala Sharma were felicitated with the Lifetime Achievement Award- 2074.
