KATHMANDU, Sept 2: The meeting of Lumbini Provincial Assembly scheduled for today has been postponed. A notice was issued stating that the fifth meeting of the ninth session has been adjourned till September 15.

The meeting of the ninth provincial assembly session convened after the formation of the new government led by Chief Minister Kul Prasad KC has been repeatedly postponed due to the obstruction of the CPN-UML.

The meeting was adjourned after the CPN-UML obstructed the meeting demanding action against Bimala Kumari Oli and Ajay Shahi.

The CPN-UML had boycotted the provincial assembly meeting on August 23 when the chief minister was seeking a vote of confidence. The meeting was adjourned till today after the chief minister took the vote of confidence.
