Lumbini CM Giri loses vote of confidence

DANG, April 24: Chief Minister (CM) of  Lumbini Province, Leela Giri did not get a vote of confidence. CM Giri, who asked for a vote of confidence in today's meeting of the provincial assembly, got only 33 votes in his favor.

He had asked for a vote of confidence again today after 25 provincial assembly members who had earlier supported him when he was appointed the Chief Minister on January 11 withdrew their support.
