CM Acharya, who was appointed on Monday, took the oath on Wednesday (today) at the Butwal-based Office of the Province Chief. He serves as the deputy leader of the CPN-UML parliamentary party.
Acharya was appointed as the CM with the support of 56 provincial assembly members including 29 from the UML and 27 from the Nepali Congress (NC) on Tuesday.
Loktantrik Samajwadi Party (LSP), the Nagarik Unmukti Party, Janamat Party, Janata Samajwadi Party- Nepal (JSP-Nepal) have declared their support to the government.
