KATHMANDU, July 6: Lumbini Bank Limited (LBL) and Sagarmatha Insurance Company Ltd (SICL) have signed an agreement to commence 'bancassurance' service.
Issuing a statement, the bank said that Ritesh Lamichhane, Head of Marketing of LBL, and Chunky Chhetry, Acting CEO of SICL, signed an agreement on Tuesday to facilitate the non-life insurance requirement of the bank's customers.
"With this arrangement, the bank's existing and potential customers can now have quick and hassle-free access to non-life insurance products from the bank's branches spread across the country," the statement added.
