I am the morning dew drop
Bloomed from your heart
Glistened by the ray
Or gulped by the dawn
Wind-kissed with
Supple sound
Hurled to the ground

I am but the chimney smoke
I devour and I choke
Puffing high to the universe or
The universe within you
With all my soot
You color your shiny boot
And dance until the clock hits
Tik tok tik!
Love me or love me not
I am but the words that you utter
Sugar, syrupy, fluid, concrete, bolt, butter
That pierces through the hollowness
Of your psyche
Floated, sunk, withered
Bind or free!
