Was supposed to gift me the emotions of love,

Instead it is lamenting about an unhappy love

Which is tainted in my sighing love-sick soul.

My emotions deserved a raise, so I decided to

Explore the belied keys to unlock the doors

Of melancholy, thinking maybe the happiness

Behind an intense flow of sadness is real.

An emotional reaction to every words read is

Toxic and now I am unknowingly hooked up on

D minor keys at the same time, I'm failing,

In myself, but at least you stay true, my friend.
