Lone survivor Aani brought to Kathmandu

KATHMANDU, Sept 8: Lho Ani Dolma Diki, the lone survivor of Altitude Air's chopper crash, has been brought to Kathmandu for treatment. The helicopter of Altitude Air crashed at Meghang Rural Municipality in Nuwakot while it was flying to Kathmandu from Samagaun in Gorkha. 

Currently, she is receiving treatment at Medicity Hospital, Lalitpur, according General Manager of Tribhuvan International Airport Rajkumar Chhetri. 

Chhetri, however, added that the dead bodies could not be brought to the capital city for unfavorable weather. 

Pilot Nischal KC and five other passengers on board the chopper died in the crash. 

According to police, Japanese national Hiromi Komatsu bearing the passport number of TK 713612068, Dilli Bahadur Gurung, 40, of Ramechhap, Hira Sherpa, 27, of Dolakha, Lho Aani Dolma Diki of Chumunbri Rural Municipality-2 in Gorkha, Chhowang Nurwu of Samdo of Chumunbri Rural Municipality-1 and Sunil Tamang, 22, of Sindhupalchowk were on board the ill-fated helicopter.
