Locals donate land for construction of health post building

BARDIYA, Feb 27: The locals of Kharmi village have donated land property for construction of a health post building.


Padam Bahadur Tamang of Kharmi – 8 donated 4.13 ropanis of land while Ratna Kumar Udas donated three annas of land for construction of the health post building.

Tamang and Udas on Sunday arrived at the District Land Reform Office at the district headquarters in Diktel and transferred the ownership of land in name of the health post, VDC Secretary, Chitra Kumar Subedi said. 


The health post, which recently introduced maternity service, had been facing problems in carrying out its services in absence of its own building. The number of patients visiting the health post has dramatically increased after the introduction of maternity service, Health Post Chief Nabin Lamichane said. RSS
