Chitwan, March 30: CPN (UML) senior leader and former Prime Minister Jhalnath Khanal has said that the local poll will not be postponed under any pretext.
In a press meet here today, leader Khanal claimed that some forces were plotting conspiracies to affect the election but it would be held in stipulated date May 14 at any cost.
He further said that the government was trying to postpone the election but his party and public will not permit for the same.
In another note, leader Khanal shared that his party was selecting candidates for local poll from his party.
UML senior leader Khanal claimed that his party had the strongest presence in Tarai including Province No 2.
In another note, he ruled out the relevance of constitution amendment in the name of ensuring the rights for Tarai people adding that the Tarai people were not deprived of any rights. RSS
