MORANG, March 31: Nepali Congress President and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, has said that the local poll will not be postponed under any pretext.
Talking to media persons at Biratnagar airport today, President Deuba added that the local poll will be held on the slated date, May 14, as preparation for the same was going on full steam.
He further claimed that the election would be held even if Tarai Centric parties denied participating in it.
Former Prime Minister Deuba shared that they were working out to have the participation of the Tarai centric parties in election adding that they were holding talks with them in this regard.
According to leader Deuba, they will soon forge consensus on constitution amendment process after leaving the issue of change in province borders.
