An IT magazine, Living with ICT announced the top five finalists in three different categories for ‘ICT Award 2019’ on Friday. The categories of ICT (Information and communication technology) Awards were on startup, product, and rising student.

E-digital Nepal, Hamro Technology, Khaalisisi, UG Cakes, and Walkman ‘Green Coins’ were among the top five for Startup ICT Award category. Similarly, Bidhana, Delta Sales App, Inspela, M-Bank, Mediflow System and Services were the top five products. Likewise, Help ER, Naya Kinmel, Prashasan-E, Raktadaan, and Water Tester made their place on the top five projects, which was prepared by college-level students.

According to jury coordinator Hempal Shrestha, the top five were announced from top 11 shortlisted nominees based on speed dating session and the presentations from them. This year the ICT Award received more than 200 applications in all categories.

The finale of ICT Award 2019 has been scheduled for August 17. The award ceremony will be broadcast through Hamro Patro app and various other streaming services.
