Litterateur Ohja no more

BHIMDATTANAGAR, Dec 30: Senior litterateur of the far-western region, Atma Ram Ohja, passed away at the age of 88 in Bhimdattanagar of Kanchanpur this morning. 

Litterateur and historian, Ohja, of Bhimdattanagar – 6, Kanchanpur gained prominence in the literary realm through his work 'Usha Anirudra Nataya' back in 2006 BS. 

His demise has caused an irreparable loss to Nepali literature, said Hem Babu Lekhak, a litterateur based in Bhimdattanagar. 

Ohja - with a dozen works including 'Sudur Pashim Etihash Parichaya', 'Tila' and 'Raja Nagi Malla' under his belt - had been decorated with the Sudur Pashim Literary Award. RSS
