KATHMANDU, May 6: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairman Rajendra Lingden has urged the people to vote for good candidates in the upcoming elections by making careful considerations as the issues of unemployment, poverty and underdevelopment will not be addressed by the gods but leaders, government, and political parties.

Speaking at an election rally organized by the party’s district working committee in Banepa on Friday, he urged all those who want to see change in their lifetime, not to vote out of concern.
Stating that the king had left the palace and handed over the country’s reins to the political parties just 18 months after his direct rule after it was said that kings are not supposed to rule in these times, Lingden said that the people should vote for a good person after making a thorough decision in the upcoming polls.
