LOS ANGELES, Nov 2:  Lindsay Lohan returns to court Wednesday for a hearing that could end with the actress jailed if a judge determines she violated her probation again.

Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner has already revoked Lohan´s probation in a pair of court cases and will decide whether the actress´ termination from a community service assignment warrants further punishment.[break]

The 25-year-old´s court appearance nearly two weeks ago ended with Lohan being led from the courtroom in handcuffs.

A city prosecutor is asking that Lohan be sent to jail, but has not publicly revealed how long she will recommend the former Disney star be locked up.

Sautner appeared exasperated with Lohan at an Oct. 19 court hearing, but needs to conduct a probation violation hearing before handing down any new punishment.
