Hetauda, June 19: Two locals died and five others were injured in a wind storm accompanied with lightning strikes on Saturday evening at Hetauda Sub Metropolis – 27.
Tara Rumba, 46, and Kumar Bal, 25, from the same locality died on the spot when the lightning struck, District Police Office, Makawanpur said.
The five others who sustained minor injuries are receiving treatment at the local health post. The dead bodies have been taken to the Hetauda Hospital for a post-mortem examination, according to police. RSS
