KATHMANDU, April 19: There is a partial influence of local winds as well as western winds in the country at present.

According to the Meteorological Division, there is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning in a few places in the hilly areas of Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces and one or two places in the hilly areas of Bagmati and Koshi provinces this afternoon.

There is a possibility of windstorms at some places of Terai in the Far West and Lumbini regions. Also, there is a possibility of cold in some parts of the country including the valley.

Similarly, the weather will be partly cloudy to generally clear in the rest of the country, including the Far West Province and Karnali Province, and the weather will remain clear in other areas tonight. The Division has stated in its daily bulletin that there is a possibility of light rain with thunderstorms in a few places in the hilly areas of Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces and one or two places in the hilly areas of Bagmati and Koshi provinces.
