KATHMANDU, March 15: There is a general influence of local winds and westerly winds in the country at present. Due to its effect, the Meteorological Forecasting Division said that the weather is generally clear in the Terai region and the hilly and mountainous areas of other provinces of the country are generally cloudy.
It is said that there will be partial to normal change in the hilly areas of the country and partial change in the rest of the areas today afternoon. There is a chance of light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in few places in the hilly areas of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces including Koshi province in the afternoon.
Windstorm with rainfall likely today
Similarly, at night, the weather will be partly cloudy to normal in the hilly areas of the country and partly cloudy to clear in the rest of the country. Light rain with thunder and lightning is predicted at one or two places over hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Far-western provinces.
