KATHMANDU, Feb 24: There is influence of western wind in the country at present. As a result of this, there is a possibility of light rainfall with thunder and lightning in province-1, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology. 

There is a chance of partial rain in the hilly areas of the country including Gandaki and Province-1 in the morning. The weather is said to be generally clear in the rest of the provinces. The weather will be clear in the hilly areas of Province No- 1, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy this afternoon.

Similarly, there is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning in one or two places in the hilly areas of Province No-1. There is a possibility of light snowfall in one or two places in the high hilly and Himalayan areas of Province No-1, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.

Similarly, the weather will be partly cloudy to normal in the hilly areas of Province No-1 and Gandaki province today, while the weather will be partly cloudy to generally clear in the rest of the country. There is a possibility of light snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and Himalayan areas of Province No-1 and Gandaki Province.
