Understanding Stock Market

Could you please tell us how the Multi V IV air conditioner is performing in the global market?

Lee
: Multi V IV air conditioner was globally launched three years ago. We are improving our technologies and next year we are likely to launch Multi V V. LG wants to be a dominant market player by launching products which are not there. We want our competitors to follow us. We were the first company to launch fourth generation VRF and fifth generation VRF in the market. We are changing from market followers to market leaders.

What makes LG air conditioners different from others brands?

Rana
: Many companies have launched air conditioners with VRF technology. However, LG air conditioner consumes less power as compared to other brands. We have used inverter compressor technology in air conditioners which makes the product suitable for the Nepali market. LG air conditioners are easy to install and it is 30 percent faster when it comes to cooling.  Our air conditioners also need 50 percent less installation space compared to other brands.

What makes VRF air conditioners different from split air conditioners?

VRF air conditioner launched by LG is totally different from the split air conditioners that people have been using. The pipe used in split air conditioner is limited, while there is no such limitation in VRF air conditioner. VRF air conditioner can be placed in any part of the building and it can control the temperature of rooms through its long pipes. Piping length between indoor and outdoor units can be as high as 1,000 meters.

How has been LG’s partnership with Chaudhary Group?

It has been a fruitful partnership with Chaudhary Group (CG). It has already been 30 years since we entered into the partnership. LG has been rated as No. 1 electronics brand in Nepali market because CG has worked very hard for it. We provide good and quality products to CG and the after sales service of CG has been very good.
