KATHMANDU, Feb 7:  Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Tuesday urged one and all not to doubt whether the elections will be held.

Speaking at a program organized to hold discussions on the electronic voting system on Tuesday, Prime Minister Dahal said that casting doubt over the elections is unnecessary as the Cabinet has already directed the Election Commission (EC) to this effect.

“The government has already asked the EC to make preparations for the elections,” said Dahal, adding, “Let’s not doubt it. It will be held.”

Meanwhile, he stressed holding talks to bring all the agitating parties on board the election process.

Held in the EC Office, the meeting focused on how to make the elections free, fair and credible, Dahal said.

The EC had held talks with the leaders of all the political parties represented in the Parliament.
