KATHMANDU, Dec 8: Candidates of Left Alliance have outweighed democratic alliance candidates in both House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly elections at Baitadi.
CPN-UML’s Damodar Bhandari is leading the House of Representatives election by more than 3,000 votes. Bhandari has received 12,006 votes while his opponent, Nar Bahadur Chand of Nepali Congress has secured 8,702 votes.
The same continues in Province elections where Maoist (center)’s Prem Prakash Bhatta and UML’s Liladhar Bhatta are leading the race in Provice A and B respectively. Maoists have receivd 10,996 votes while UML has received 12,038 votes in the provinces.
Nepali Congress’s Harimohan Bhandari and RPP’s Ganesh Chand have received 8,355 and 8,898 votes in the two provinces so far.
