PARSA, Nov 25: Police have arrested a lecturer in possession of an automatic pistol in Parsa.
Jeetendra Prasad Singh, a lecturer at Thakurram Multiple Campus, was held with the illegal firearm from his house at Durgatol in Birgunj Metropolitan City-11 on Tuesday night.
A team of police raided Singh's house and seized pistol, one magazine used in the pistol and four rounds of live bullets.
Singh has been kept in the custody of the District Police Office, Parsa and investigation is underway against him, according to police. He will be charged with possession of firearm, according to the District Police Office.
