POKHARA, DecC 2: To promote Nepali language in non residential Nepali, ‘Nepali Barnamala’ card game has been developed. Bardan Gurung who is living in Hong Kong and President of Tamu Samajha Hong Kong, Komal Gurung (Shyanjhali Kancha Dai) has designed the Nepali alphabet card.

According to Bardan it will be easy for the kids to learn Nepali vowels, alphabet and letters where the idea of these cards was developed on August. The cards consist of Kha to Gyha, Aa to Aha and Nepali numerical from zero to nine. “In the beginning we printed around 1000 packs of card as the pilot project. And these cards are in the demand,” he informed.


Bardan was in Nepal for few days and told that the card has been developed as it has become a necessity for the kids living abroad. Sharing the inspiration about developing such cards, he added, “I have been living in Hong Kong for a long time now and I saw my niece who is living in UK and studies in UKG was not able to speak Nepali. Then I felt the need of card that would help such children to learn Nepali language, having fun.” These educational cards are designed in Hong Kong while it is getting printed in China.
