Leader Poudel requests Japan for support in agro technology

KATHMANDU, Sept 25: Nepali Congress senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel has stressed the need of expanding Nepal-Japan relations for trade and investment in Nepal.
At a progrmme organsied by Nepal Chamber of Commerce here Sunday on the occasion of 60th establishment of Nepal-Japan diplomatic relations, NC senior leader Poudel urged the Japanese government to provide support in agricultural technology to advance the agricultural sector in Nepal.
He also laid emphasis on taking the country towards the path of sustainable peace and economic development along with constitution implementation at a time when the country has already got the constitution.
"Nepal and Japan should take initiative together for the establishment of sustainable peace in the world. Both the countries should collaborate each other by making their relations more friendly for the same," he underscored.
On the occasion, Industry Minister Navindra Raj Joshi said that the government should create environment conducive to create employments in the country by resuming the closed industries.
Likewise, Japanese Ambassador to Nepal, Masashi Ogawa, said Japan has wanted to further strengthen Nepal-Japan relations. RSS
