KATHMANDU, August 4: Senior CPN (UML) leader Jhalanath Khanal had a successful kidney transplant at the Apollo Hospital in New Delhi, India on Wednesday.
According to his personal secretary Krishna Bhattarai, a team led by Dr Sandeep Gulariya, a surgeon at the hospital performed the transplant. He is now under the care of nephrologist Dr Akhil Mishra.
