Laxmi Bank completes 15 years of operations

KATHMANDU, March 31: Laxmi Bank Ltd has completed 15 years of operations. Issuing a statement, the bank said it started as a regional bank based in Birgunj in 2002 and now provides banking services in 36 districts using modern technologies.

According to the bank, it has a paid-up capital of Rs 3.15 billion. It has decided to float shares through a 1:1 rights issue and 18.29 percent bonus shares to shareholders. “The bank has been providing banking services to clients through 68 branches, 80 ATM outlets, and internet and mobile banking services,” it said. The bank active in organizing events directed at conserving the environment under its corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs, it said.
