KATHMANDU, Nov 1: Lawyers of Nepal Bar Association have staged a protest for the second day inside the premises of the Supreme Court again. The agitated lawyers have staged a protest by wrapping a black ribbon on their arms, demanding the resignation of Chief Justice Cholendra SJB Rana.
The lawyers who had staged a protest on Sunday have continued their protests today as well. They can be seen carrying banners and wearing black ribbons demanding the resignation of the chief justice.

According to the Nepal Bar Association, the lawyers have decided to continue their protests unless Chief Justice resigns from his post. They have warned of intensifying their protests further if the chief justice does not resign by November 2.
Earlier, Chief Justice Cholendra SJB Rana had clarified that he will not resign from his post under pressure, but will vacate his post through the constitutional process of impeachment.
