Landslide kills two, injures 3 in Ramechhap

CHARIKOT, Sept 6: Two people were killed and three injured after a landslide struck Hulakdanda village of Bhaluwajor-2 in Ramechhap district on Saturday night.

The landslide killed Sukmaya Shahi, 62, and her neighbor Niraj Shahi, the police said.

DSP Kedar Dhakal said Bir Bahadur Shahi, 70, his neighbor Chinimaya Shahi, 30, and her one-and-a-half-year-old son were injured in the incident. The injured are being treated in Ramechhap District Hospital.
