DHADING, July 19: Landslide buried seven houses at Ganga Jamuna Rural Municipality-2, Prunum on Wednesday morning. The landslide that swept away Khyamidanda of Ganga Jamuna-1 buried the houses at Prunum village.
Locals from 12 households at the village had run away from their houses after landslide started on Tuesday afternoon. "As we had already moved away from our houses, there is no any human casualty. The landslide is still falling down," said Faising Tamang, a local from Prunum.
The village was under serious threat of landslide following the massive earthquake two years ago. It takes two days on foot to reach the village and the District Disaster Relief Committee has already decided to send relief materials for the people in Prunum.
