KATHMANDU, Aug 30: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chair Rabi Lamichhane has directed all party bodies to intensify search, rescue and relief efforts in areas affected by the Bhotekoshi floods.
Lamichhane received briefings from various levels and bodies of the party on the ongoing relief and rescue efforts, RSP spokesperson Jagdish Kharel said.
According to Kharel, Lamichhane instructed party units to coordinate among their available mechanisms, volunteers and relevant agencies to ensure immediate assistance reaches affected people.

The RSP said Lamichhane also urged all party units to remain actively mobilised, prioritising the search, rescue and relief of people affected or at risk in the Bhotekoshi area.
