KATHMANDU, August 28: Kathmandu University School of Management (KUSOM) organized its 9th edition of Job and Internship Fair (KJIF) on August 25-27.
The fair witnessed the participation of as many as 61 companies some of them being Standard Chartered bank,Sipradi, Unilever, Beed Management, Gorkha Brewery, Panchakanya, Samsung India, IME Group, Golchha Group, Citizen Life Insurance, Domla Advisors and HLE Nepal, among others, were some of the participating companies for this year. More than 150+ students of Kathmandu University comprising of BBA, MBA, and BBIS students were interviewed this year.
KUSOM Job and Internship Fair
According to the organizers, KJIF was organized in a virtual mode this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. "The annual sought after event by corporates, KJIF organized by Placement Cell of Kathmandu University School of Management (KUSOM), is an annual Flagship Event which acts as a bridge between students of KU SOM and Corporate houses," said the statement.
KJIF provides students with the platform to connect with the company of their choice as well as provided employers an opportunity to explore the talent pool of KUSOM. "The Event provided a win-win solution to both the parties," the statement further said.
Since its establishment in 2011, the KJIF has been receiving an overwhelming response from the leading national and multinational companies every year. The Event has been able to achieve its mission of establishing right connections with the industry which is being reflected in the success rate of placements and feedback given by companies about the Event.
