KATHMANDU, Dec 25: Computer Association Nepal (CAN) Federation conducted its 24th annual general meeting and general convention in Kathmandu on Sunday.
Representatives from 33 districts across the nation participated in the convention, the federation said in a statement. The AGM elected a 38-member executive committee with Kumar Chaurasiya as president and Biswaram Balami, Sunaina Ghimire Pandey, Romakanta Pandey and Nawaraj Kunwar as vice presidents.
Similarly, Kumar Poddar has been elected unanimously as the general secretary. Newly elected president Chaurasiya thanked everyone who elected him as the president and stated that he was committed to make the federation united and transparent, the federation said in the statement. Established in 1992, CAN transformed into a federation in 2015.
