KATHMANDU, July 1: Kathmandu University (KU) has been padlocked for the past four days.
Students affiliated to the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) padlocked the administration department and some classrooms demanding that the student union be established at Kathmandu University.
All the administrative works and academic classes have been brought to a halt after the agitating students padlocked the administration department. The university reiterated that it cannot accede to the demand of the students for the establishment of the student union.
