KATHMANDU, May 31: Newly elected representatives in Kathmandu Metropolitan City, including Mayor Bidya Sundar Shakya and deputy mayor Hari Prabha Khadgi, took oath of their office amidst a program on Wednesday.
Chief Returning Officer Judge Deependra Adhikari has administered the oath to newly elected people's representatives in Kathmandu Metropolis at a special program organized at Rastriya Sabhagriha.
Mayor and deputy mayor are scheduled to visit Martyrs' monument, Ganeshman Shanti Batika, Managaladevi Park, Pushpa Lal Memorial Park and Kumarighar at Basantapur before assuming their offices in the afternoon.
