KPADHNE.COM; an online platform for students

Education is an important part of our life. Many students cannot decide what is good for them, when it comes to education. To help such students, a group of four entrepreneurs--Navaraj Pandey, Pradeep Subedi, Kishor GC, and Suresh Panta--have started a website named kpadhne.com where people can find different information related to education, such as exam routine, notices, scholarship opportunities, and so on.

From this website, students can search educational institutions according to courses, tuition fees, accommodation, name, location, and level. Through this website, students of rural areas can easily search for different courses and educational institutes using Internet.

Having more than five years of teaching experience, CEO of the website Navaraj Pandey said he experienced lots of uncertainty during his educational journey and he decided to visit foreign country in search of better opportunity. But he soon realized that foreign employment would not a good solution for him, so he decided to do something in the country.

“I was about to leave Nepal but then I decided to do something in Nepal. Then I collaborated with my three friends and decided to establish an education-related website to remove the confusion and indecisiveness of the students,” said Pandey. “As this is truly educational website to help students during their educational journey, we named it Kpadhne (what to read),” he added.  The website went online in April, 2017. As many as 15 employees are working for the website.

“Information on over 500 educational institutes from all over the country (kindergarten to master's degree) is available in this website. We are looking forward to increase the number of institutions,” said one of the cofounders and chief operating officer of Kpadhne, Pradeep Subedi.

There is a counseling section in the website that helps students to decide about their education and career. There is a tutor's section that connects students and teachers. “When I was working as a teacher, I used to be free before 9am and 4pm. Then it was really hard to find home tuitions to support me financially. I decided to install this tutor's section here, so that students and teachers both can benefit,” said Pandey. “In our website, students can check all education-related information. So this website is a good friend of students.”

The website founders recently visited 15 different districts of Nepal and interacted with more than 50,000 students to inform them about the various services available at Kpadhne. “We are looking forward to increase the number of users of our website,” said Subedi. “We faced huge problem while we were students, and we don’t want others to face similar problems. We are also planning to launch Kpadhne mobile app within the next three months."
