Koshi Province Cabinet expanded

BIRATNAGAR, July 9:  The Council of Ministers of Koshi Province has been expanded. Koshi Chief Minister Uddhav Thapa expanded the Council of Ministers on Sunday.

BIRATNAGAR, July 9:  The Council of Ministers of Koshi Province has been expanded. Koshi Chief Minister Uddhav Thapa expanded the Council of Ministers on Sunday. 


Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s brother-in-law Jeevan Acharya and Rajendra Karki from the CPN (Maoist Center), and Ram Kumar Khatri from the Nepali Congress have been appointed ministers. Acharya has been appointed as the Minister of Economic Affairs and Planning and others have been appointed ministers without portfolio.

After not being satisfied with the division of ministries, the CPN-US did not send a minister at the last hour.


The Province Chief's Office stated that the portfolios of Kamal Prasad Jabegu and Pradip Kumar who were appointed ministers on Friday would be determined later.
