Koirala calls for mahasamiti meeting

BIRATNAGAR, Feb 1: Nepali Congress leader Dr Shekhar Koirala has urged for calling party's mahasamiti meeting soon. 

In a press meet organized by the Press Union Morang chapter here today, leader Koirala said that the mahasamiti meeting was urgent to hold serious discussions on statute amendment, transfer the party organization in line with federal set up and fix the date for general congress. 

On another note, he clarified that Prime Minister was in chair following the constitutional provision however taking the decision of whether to resign or not was his personal matter. 
He further opined for forming a new government by left alliance as per public mandate.
