KATHMANDU, June 6: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has published a list of 342 schools that have so far refused to provide scholarships to the students as per the rules.
On May 24, the metropolis had asked all schools to provide scholarships to 10 percent of the students and publish the details on their respective websites.
The KMC has set June 11 as the new deadline for schools to publish details of the scholarships by June 11.
While publishing a list of schools that have not published scholarship details, the KMC has warned that the permission of schools that defy its order will be revoked. The metropolis in a notice on Tuesday said that it will take legal action against schools that do not provide scholarship details.
