KATHMANDU, Sept 27: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) is to assist Rs 10 million for the conservation of culture and heritages of Tokha and thus developing this town into a model city.
KMC mayor Bidya Sundar Shakya and Tokha Municipality Chief Prakash Adhikari signed an agreement to this regard amidst a programme at the KMC Office today. The collaboration shall remain into effect for the next five years.

Tokha Culture, Heritages Conservations Dabu; and Tokha Newa Guthi, the local organizations, facilitated the assistance signing process.
On the occasion, KMC mayor Shakya viewed that protection and promotion of Tokha's culture and heritage and its development would ultimately benefit the KMC folks.
Municipality chief Adhikari pledged to fully utilize the monetary aid for meeting the purposes. RSS
