KATHMANDU, July 28: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has announced the names of 2,859 students for class 11 scholarships.
According to the decision of the Scholarship Selection Committee of KMC, the names of 2,859 students were announced on Saturday.
The details of this have been sent to the schools by email, according to the metropolis. The metropolis has said that SMSes have been sent to the students. Students will be able to get information about their recommendation through the same method of receiving the admit card.

According to the KMC, the list has been published based on the results of the examination conducted on July 19, subject-wise and group-wise merit order, the priority order given by the examinees in the educational institutions while filling the online application form, and the number of seats allocated in groups.
The metropolis has requested students whose names have been published to enroll within July 30. Scholarship recipients do not have to pay any fees.
Govinda Prasad Sharma, coordinator of the Scholarship Selection Committee and Education Officer, said, “There have been complaints that some schools have demanded admission and laboratory fees. We are collecting information on this matter.”
The department has provided the number of the office and education officers to be contacted immediately if there is any problem in enrollment including the school demanding fees.
