KATHMANDU, March 25: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has directed all stakeholders to remove the illegally built structures along the river bank in Kathmandu district within seven days.
Issuing a notice on Friday, the KMC asked all those encroaching the public places such as river bank and river corridor and owning the properties built illegally to remove them within a week.
The metropolis warned that it will be forced to demolish such structures if the concerned parties do not remove them on their own within the stipulated timeline.
The KMC has also notified them that all expenses incurred during the removal shall be borne by the concerned side.
