US Bangla Air Crash

KATHMANDU, Mar 13: Kathmandu Medical College, which has the highest number of yesterday’s plane crash victims, disclosed status of survivors.
Forty nine of the 71 passengers on board the US-Bangla airlines met an accident due to ‘confusion’ while landing at Kathmandu International Airport yesterday.
Eight passengers (four females – two of which are unidentified) were brought dead. Of those deceased, three are Nepali while the remaining are Bangladeshi.
Likewise, six passengers (four female) are undergoing treatment in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit. Of them, four are Bangladeshi and the remaining two are Nepali.
Of the remaining 10 survivors, four are undergoing treatment while six have been discharged on request.
