KATHMANDU, May 16: Kings XI Punjab has won the toss and elected to field first in a 50th match (N) of ongoing Indian Premier League at Mumbai on Wednesday.
Mumbai Indians will be out of the tournament if it loses to Kings XI Punjab on Wednesday, but if it wins will move to fourth place. Their net run rate is 0.405, which is better even than the table-toppers Sunrisers Hyderabad because so many of their losses were close. But they cannot avail its advantage if they lose to Kings XI.
Kings XI Punjab win the toss and elect to bat
Mumbai Indians lost to Rajasthan Royals by seven wickets, beat Kolkata Knight Riders by 102 runs, beat Kolkata Knight Riders by 13 runs. While, Kings XI Punjab lost to Royal Challengers Bangalore by 10 wickets, lost to Kolkata Knight Riders by 31 runs, lost to Rajasthan Royals by 15 runs.
