KATHMANDU, July 30: Artist Kedar Shrestha participated in two international drama festivals where he showcased his solo-drama ‘Mr. Moon, Miss Sun, and Mrs. Crow’ in ‘Pum Theatre Festival 2018’, and ‘Aasitez Korea International summer theatre festival.’
His solo performance on the Korean folklore, ‘Mr. Moon, Miss Sun, and Mrs. Crow’ performance was the result of a month-long Asian artists’ residential workshop in Korea. Under the supervision of Sung Inhyun Kylan Ksjathlag -- director at the Mindule Theatre and the Pum Festival -- Shrestha directed, and acted in the Korean folklore. The play portrays the story of two hungry siblings waiting for their mother, and their struggles with a cunning Tiger.
A total of 10 artists from Korea, Nepal, India, Philippines, Sri Lanka and Pakistan participated in the Asian artist residence which was organized in joint cooperation, and guidance of the Korean Art Council.
