Ashish KC is an aspiring model active in the Nepali glamour field for the past year. His career highlights include participation in various runway shows, including the Daljit Sudan Fashion Runway, and Namuna College of Fashion and Technology Graduation and Fashion Show. He has also been featured in a commercial photo shoot, and on a Smart Cell advertisement. 

Acknowledging his potential, some of his friends recommended him to take part in Model Hunt Nepal. He bagged the winner’s title of the 2018 season. “Winning the title was a huge surprise,” he said.  

KC considers modeling more than just runway events. "It requires grooming, confidence, and personal development.  Moreover, it is also about performing in front of the camera," said KC.

Despite the challenges, he is still hopeful about the Nepali modeling scenario. He sees the scope of modeling, as a career in Nepal, broadening because of beauty pageants, runways, photo shoot, endorsement, and advertisement opportunities. 

Currently, KC is engaged in conducting interviews, and photo shoots. He will soon join the grooming classes for Luxury Brand Model Award, scheduled for November at Korea. KC is also considering participating in Mister Ocean 2018. In coming days, he is determined on enhancing his modeling skills by participating in grooming classes, and international contest. Additionally, he yearns to make a leap into the silver screen and to initiate a side-business to financially support his family.
