Legal hurdles delaying Kathmandu-Terai Fast Track construction:...
According to him, the main challenge was constructing the tunnels, which is now complete. The remaining work will proceed according to the previously established schedule, he added. He further mentioned that they have successfully constructed the tunnel and will share their expertise with Nepali engineers. “This demonstrates that we are capable of constructing such structures,” he said.
He also said that land acquisition issues in Bungamati and Khokana in Lalitpur have been affected by political factors and should be resolved by politicians. Apart from these areas, land management in other locations has been resolved, he said. With these issues addressed, the project will be completed within the predetermined time frame, according to him.
